PEQVI® Standard Warranty Terms and Conditions
PEQVI® warrants that its products are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal operating conditions and proper use for a period of 12 months from the date of supply. The terms of this warranty are as follows:
1. Warranty Coverage
- The warranty covers manufacturing defects only and applies to equipment supplied by PEQVI®.
- Repairs for defects under warranty will be performed free of labor charges, subject to the co-payment policy for replacement parts as outlined below.
- For bought-out components, defects will be subject to the warranty terms of the respective manufacturers. PEQVI® will assist in coordinating with the manufacturer, and their decision will be final and binding.
2. Co-Payment for Repairs
- During the warranty period, customers will be required to contribute a co-payment for the replacement or repair of any defective parts.
- The co-payment amount will depend on the specific part and will be communicated to the customer before repairs commence.
- Labor charges for warranty repairs will remain free of cost.
3. Freight and Shipping
- The customer is responsible for shipping the defective product to PEQVI®’s designated facility, with to and fro freight charges and transit insurance borne by the customer.
- Secure packaging is required to prevent transit damage, which is not covered under warranty.
4. Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:
a) Damage caused by operational errors, lack of maintenance, or improper use.
b) Damage due to accidents such as explosions, flooding, fire, lightning strikes, or theft.
c) Burnt equipment caused by power surges, improper earthing, or any other external electrical issues.
d) Equipment found to be opened, burnt, tampered with, or where warranty seals are removed or damaged.
e) Damage resulting from unauthorized repairs, modifications, or the use of non-PEQVI® parts and supplies.
f) Damage caused by improper installation or connection to incompatible equipment.
5. Warranty Voidance
The warranty will be deemed void if:
- The equipment is found to be physically damaged, burnt, or tampered with.
- Warranty seals are tampered with or removed.
- Unauthorized personnel attempt to repair, install, or modify the product.
6. Limitation of Liability
- PEQVI®’s liability is strictly limited to repair or replacement of defective products as outlined in this warranty.
- PEQVI® and its distributors shall not be held liable for any consequential, incidental, or indirect damages resulting from the use of its products.
- This warranty is the sole and exclusive warranty for PEQVI® products, and no other warranties, expressed or implied, are provided.
7. Warranty Claims Process
To make a warranty claim:
- Notify PEQVI® of the defect before the warranty period expires.
- Ship the defective equipment to PEQVI®’s facility with shipping charges prepaid.
8. Additional Terms
- Details of the Warranty Agreement will be included in the Warranty Certificate provided at the time of dispatch.
